Consumer Right Protection in Trading Service under the Russian and Chinese Legislation

Considered in the final paper are issues devoted to consumers’ rights. The author analyses the doctrinal and practical approaches to the understanding of consumers’ rights in trading service. The studies of consumers’ rights according to the Russian and Chinese legislation are intended to be easily adapted for practical purposes. Consumer protection is germane to all manner of transactions across a broad range of industries. The results achieved advance our understanding of the nature of consumer protection in two different countries. Hence, lawyers in virtually all areas of practice can benefit from a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of issues that may arise in relation to it. This paper demonstrates unprecedented circumstances and problems in consumer protection and compares Russian consumer protection legislation system with Chinese one.
