Financial Benefits of Lean Manufacturing

In this study it was conducted an investigation that considers some variants how to raise the financial condition of a lean enterprise. In the first chapter it was determined the theoretical base connected with the basic concepts of Lean Accounting and also there is a comparison of Lean Accounting and traditional approach. In the second chapter, it was analyzed the financial department of one of the Russian telecommunications companies. In this part, it was determined some ways how it is possible to improve the financial condition. In the third chapter, it was described and compared some alternative options how to use the released resources. The purpose of this research is to develop methods how to improve the company's financial condition by using Lean transformation. The objectives of the study are: to study of the theoretical bases of lean management accounting, to work out the value stream map, to identify bottlenecks in the functioning of the department, to develop the measures of how to improve the functioning of the department in accordance with the concept of Lean Management, to size the changes from an economical point of view. One of the main research tools we can select a table of indicators, Box Score. The results of this study have allowed to increase the rate of payment to suppliers; to reduce the number of invoices; to release the staff time and; to eliminate the otiose transitions; to increase the motivation of employee and to reduce overall costs for 526 800.00 per month.
