The Possibilities of State Regulation of Companies’ Innovative Activities in Case of China, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia

This study on topic "The Possibilities of State Regulation of Companies’ Innovative Activities in Case of China, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia" is devoted to solving the arising problems of government regulation of businesses’ innovative growth in high-tech industries of China, South Korea and Indonesia. The result of this study is the development of government regulation tools on innovative activities of national companies in the observed countries, and a study of the best practices of China, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia , which can be applied in Russia . In the first part of the study various theories on economic growth, on national innovation systems, on the relationship between intellectual properties rights protection and economic growth, and patents theory. Thanks to them, goals and targets of the study were formed, which will allow to compare the theory with what is happening in practice. The second part of the study provides an overview of the main set of innovation policies tools and their usage roles on national and the world markets. Also, intellectual property rights protection will be analyzed as a tool of high-technology industries development. In the third part investigated the role of technological exports to developing economies of China, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia, discussed the factors that had the greatest positive impact on the development of national innovation systems in these countries, as well as consider the possibility of applying the best practices of innovation policy in Russia. Finally, the initial hypothesis on the need of complex application of state regulation tools that stimulate innovation-based activities of the companies is proven to be truth and all the goals and targets were completed. Moreover, a brief summary on the study was made and the state regulation tools for innovative companies that would potentially be suitable for the usage on the Russian market were highlighted.
