Success Fee as a Form of Attorney’s Remuneration in the Civil Legislation

The contingent fee as a form of the attorney’s remuneration is an institution of the common law and remains under discussion in the Russian Federation. The research aims to show the positive effects of the success fee as a form of the lawyer remuneration by the contract of repayable rendering of legal services. The investigation is based on a variety of methods such as the analysis of the court practice and the comparison of the Russian legal norms with the foreign legislation. The author concludes about the necessity to change the approach to the success fee in the judicial process.
