An Empirical Research of the Deterrent Effect of Russian Merger Control

This research is dedicated to the identification of a deterrent effect in the framework of Russian merger control. The tested model data is based on the decisions of the antimonopoly authority for the 2009-2015 year. These models demonstrate the impact of regulations and bans on future M & A activity. As the result the deterrent effect was revealed.
