Topic: " Integration Processes in Eurasia: Challenges, Opportunities and Risks » Author: Ksenia Belousova Purpose - to identify the impact of the role of the integration processes in the CIS countries on the development of Russian regions by the example of the Nizhniy Novgorod region. The tasks set in the work: • analysis of the experience of integration processes in the regions of the world • determining the driving and braking forces of integration processes in the post-Soviet space • the study of the political and economic aspects of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) and the prospects for its development; • study of the problems, risks and prospects of development of cooperation of Russian regions by the example of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the city of Jinan (China). The object of research is the political and economic dimensions of international relations in the Eurasian regional space. The subject of the study, the foreign policy of the CIS member states, including Russia, in the context of their participation in the regional integration processes. Methods: analysis of theoretical and practical sources, analytical research, forecasting method. The structure consists of an introduction, three chapters in the main part, conclusion, list of references. The novelty of the research is to generalize the results of research and to formulate a new point of view on the current state of international relations in the period of the sanctions pressure on the Russian regional economies. The ambiguous geopolitical situation on the west of the Russian Federation, the turbulent nature of the relationship with the United States and some other European countries, and the worsening crisis in all areas, more and more clearly necessitates the consolidation of states adjacent to Russia and the countries interested in cooperation with Russia.
