Functional and Structural Changes in Contemporary Editorials of Russian Printed Media on the Example of "Novaya Gazeta"

Research theme is "Functional and Structural Changes in Contemporary Editorials of Russian Printed Media on the Example of "Novaya Gazeta"" The thesis contains 154 112 signs with spaces, 100 pages, 4 diagrams, 1 appendix, 68 literature sources. The object of research is the structural and functional changes in editorial offices of national print media. The subject is the structure and features of the workflow of various structural divisions of "Novaya Gazeta" in modern conditions (wide spread of Internet technology and convergence). In the introduction substantiated the urgency of the chosen theme, formulated the goal and objectives of the study, specified object, subject and methods of research. In the first chapter was made theoretical analysis of the media concept and media features in the studies of various researchers. In the second chapter presented the typical structure of the traditional and converged editions, the effect of convergence on printed media, identified the opportunities offered by social media to the print media. Also was made an example of the structure of the converged outlet in Russia. The third chapter presented the structure of the editorial board "Novaya Gazeta", marked roles of individual units within its structure. In details analyzed the work of web-editorial office and the new strategy of presence in social networks. In the fourth chapter was made analyzes of the theoretical data on the changes in the modern media, as well on this subject carried out the survey and analyzed the opinion of the 12 media experts. Conclusion contains the main conclusions in accordance with the studied subject.
