The period of the Queen Anne’s reign (1702-1714) has a rich tradition in historiography, but biographies dedicated to the Queen Anne are diverse and far from any consensus concerning the independence of the Queen’s political course and to what degree it was successful. In this paper the features of the formation of the Queen Anne Stuart’s royal politics are studied. The study focuses on various aspects of relations between the crown and its Cabinet, because it is the Cabinet of Ministers that was the main tool of implementation of the royal politics. This approach aims to help understanding the formation of the crown’s goals and to distinguish which of these goals were the most important. The source base of this study are correspondence and parliamentary journals.
