Also important is the fact that the economic crisis and the high level of competition in the information systems market also forced to change and improve the current type of organizational culture. For the survival of project-oriented IT companies in the market companies seek to develop competencies of project participants to improve project management, development of employees and for the dissemination of the organizational culture. The problem of the study is that IT companies need to find and develop these types of organizational culture, which would positively affect the project activities of these companies. Cameron and Quinn's methodology used to assess the organizational culture. Scientific novelty of work consists in the following: 1. identified characteristics of the organizational culture of project-oriented IT companies; 2. The proposed system of indicators of efficiency of the project implementation of electronic document management system in the companies that are engaged in the implementation of electronic document management systems. The practical significance of the work is as follows: 1. recommendations for the improvement of organizational culture for project-oriented IT companies and the further use of these recommendations; 2. advice on the creation of the school of project management or its elements inside any project-oriented IT companies to improve the competences in the field of project management and organizational culture as a distributor;
