Despite the abundance of different types of modern intelligence, the study of this phenomenon began with the mental faculties of man, later called IQ, or rational intellect. So, in turn, thanks to the discovery of IQ in the nineteenth century, was born, for example, the area psychogenetics. Over time, a rational intellect was too difficult to operate. In many ways it happened due to the fact that this concept was to contain an excessive amount of phenomena, often linked only indirectly. As disagree with this arrangement E.Torndayk Affairs in 1920 he has created a model that already includes three components - an abstract, mechanical and social intelligence. Then, this model "multiple intelligences" could not win must trust in mind the complexity of the study, explanation and classification. Later, one of the most significant impacts in this area was social intelligence from L.Dzh.Kronbaha who confidently stated that "research in this area are hopeless". [35] Multiple studies brought criticism to a minimum for a short period. Over time, forgotten the difference in intelligence was back in the minds of scientists. It happened at the end of the twentieth century, at the dawn of the new millennium. A new kind of intelligence, called emotional, was closely linked with the social, however, had a greater ease for research and classifications. The first, who coined the term "emotional intelligence" were D. Meyer and P. Selovey. They defined emotional intelligence as the ability to perceive and express emotion, assimilate emotion and thought, understand and explain emotions, regulate their emotions and others [29]. At the moment, there are many models of emotional intelligence, from the model and ending R.Barona D.Goulmana theory.
