Doctrinal Foundations' Evolution of the Security System of the Russian Federation

The theme of bachelor project is "The Evolution of the doctrinal foundations of the Russian Federation security." The author of this work is the student group М СН БПТ122 Department of Political Science Faculty of Social National Research University Higher School of Economics Mikhail Soloviev. In the introduction to this paper, the author proved topicality of this project, set a goal of writing the work, tasks that must be completed in the course of the study, as well as the subject, object and hypothesis. The object of this study are the main provisions of the Military Doctrine of the Russian Federation, 1993, Military Doctrine of the Russian Federation in 2000, 2010, 2014, the National Security Concept of the Russian Federation in 1997 and 2000, as well as the Russian Federation's national security strategy until 2020 and the Strategy of the Russian Federation's national security 2015. The subject is the evolution of the changes of these documents during the period from 1993 to 2015. The hypothesis of this study is as follows: "The Russian Federation's national security system is inefficient due to the fact that the development and updating of documents that form the conceptual basis of the national security system are inconsistent and unsystematic." The first chapter deals with the basic theoretical background study of the term "security" and "national security" and discussed the conceptual foundations of US national security and Israel. The second chapter provides an analysis of Russian documents that form the conceptual foundations of national security system. Conclusion contains the main conclusions regarding these documents in the context of the hypothesis posed in the introduction.
