Prospects of Reforming Russian Inheritance Law at the present stage

The present research is devoted to comparative legal analysis of regulation of inheritance in valid legislation of Russian Federation and new prescription which was offered for reforming of inheritance law. The paper comprises the process of development of domestic inheritance law with its effect for modern Russian economic and society, assesses the current status of inheritance law, examines the shortcomings of legal regulation. The author provides the main advantages and disadvantages of amending investigated part of civil law using the analyze of inherited property (art. 1112 of Russian Civil code) and construction of spouse joint testament.
