Franchisees' Selection Process Influence on Franchise System Effectiveness

The Graduation Thesis is devoted to the evaluation franchisees' selection process influence on franchise system effectiveness. The developed system of the required characteristics is not always a guarantor of choosing the right partner because it may include inadequate requirements, what is the main problem in the subject. The aim of this work is to assess the impact of franchisee’s selection procedures to the franchising network efficiency. Chapter 1 includes discussion of basic concepts and distinctive features of franchising in Russia and in the world. Chapter 2 includes an analysis of foreign and russian publications on the issue of franchisee selection and methods of effectiveness of the network’s evaluation. Chapter 3 contains the regression analysis that describes the selection procedure’s impact on the franchisee network performance and provides empirical results. The result of the regression analysis obtained the following conclusions: the implemented learning system increases the efficiency of the network; the significance of the franchisor’s experience as of the company providing the use of the business model the higher, the bigger franchising network.
