Interactive and Multimedia Technologies in Museum`s Promotion

This study describes a research that will analyse the relevance of the usage of interactive and multimedia technologies in museums’ space, their influence on exhibit perception and their impact on attracting visitors, basing on the data obtained in both theoretical and empirical studies. The goal of this paper will be achieved via analyzing European practices in museum marketing and observing their experience in using of multimedia in permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as the involvement of visitors in the museum space with the help of some interactive techniques. The proposal includes four sections: introduction to the study, review of the literature, methodology and summary of the results anticipated.
