Analytical System Development of Selection Logistics Partners for Distance Selling Companies

In this paper, the analytical system for selection logistics partners for distance selling companies is created. Choosing a partner, which is able to build all logistics processes effectively, is very complicate, it requires deep market research and analysis. This project is made to automatize this task and facilitate the selection process. The work defines the role of logistics in e-commerce. The paper provides an overview of the market of electronic commerce and logistics of online-orders and the classification of logistics players on the type of services; it describes the role of purchases processing and delivery in e-business. The work also includes the criteria and algorithm of choosing the most effective partner and the process of developing a database to reinforce an analytical system with the necessarily information. For the developed system the work contains architecture, an information database model and a data warehouse. The interaction with the system occurs through the web-portal, for which the business logic and structure are described.. The operation of the entire project is simulated. The work contains 65 pages, including the Annex. The paper contains 51 table and 17 figures, in Appendix 3 basic circuits are rendered: an algorithm for selecting a logistics partner, developed a database diagram and its physical model.
