Developing a Prototype of an IT-network Objects Performance Forecast System

The graduation work is devoted to developing a forecast system for IT-network objects performance. The calculation of expected values allows maintaining a higher level of system stability and, therefore, quality of service. The goal of this work is to develop a prototype of an IT-network object performance forecast system including a graphical user interface for data visualization. The diploma work consists of 40 pages: two chapters, introduction, conclusion, bibliography and appendix. In the introduction the main goal of the work is stated, several tasks required for its accomplishment are set. The first part of the work touches upon prevalent forecast algorithms and methods as well as existing software solutions in the field. In the second part an overview of standards, frameworks and tools used is provided, a substantiated choice of forecast algorithms is made and the forecast system prototype implementation is described. The conclusion summarizes the results achieved.
