Development of Solution Architecture for automation of Controls in Parallel Accounting in Russian Companies for 1C Based Solutions

This work is a Master's thesis "Development of Solution Architecture for Automation of Controls in Parallel Accounting in Russian Companies for 1C Based Solutions ". Within this work the architecture is formed for automation controls for transfer pricing and fixed assets accounting processes in the Russian companies. The solution is as a proposal to create add-ins for a technical 1C based solutions, which maintain parallel accounting. Such solution is aimed to reduce the number of errors in the conduct of parallel accounting, and accordingly, to minimize the risks. In the introduction, the relevance of the Master's work is identified. The first chapter describes the existing 1C based solutions, which allow the company to maintain parallel accounting, identifies the issues that arise due to the lack of control points in these processes, presenting possible mistakes made in the conduct of parallel accounting. In the second chapter matrix layout for the formation of controls in the financial information system is formed based on the aggregation of methodologies and standards related to IT audit control requirements, as well as proposed controls for transfer pricing and fixed assets accounting processes are presented.to cover vulnerabilities outlined in Chapter 1. The third chapter presents an approach to the formation of the solution target architecture and the architecture itself to automation controls in parallel accounting. The benefit obtained by the company from the created architecture is proven by the example of two IT-projects that include the automation of controls in the system 1C.
