Information and Analytical Support of Strategic Monitoring and Development of the Business System

This paper is dedicated to information and analytical support of strategic monitoring and development of business system. The aims of the paper are generalizing the theoretical and practical developments in the fields of strategic monitoring and usage of various information and analytical tools for the development of business systems, as well as consideration of different practical solutions using the methods, discussed in the paper. Following goals have been set and achieved during the research: compilation and synthesis of theoretical basis and problems of using strategic management in semi structured situations, the choice information technology tools that provide effective information support of strategic management, and the practical application of the methodology for solving management problems in the real circumstances. During the research, the theoretical aspect of strategic monitoring in conditions of semi structured problems has been analysed and the cognitive maps methodology has been chosen for solving these problems; the business intelligence market has been analysed while searching for a strategic monitoring suitable BI solution, and the QlikView software has been chosen for modulating an information and analytical support for real enterprise company, which has been successfully done.
