State Support for Small Business in Russia in the Conditions of Economic Instability

The present research work on the topic "State support for small business in Russia in the conditions of economic instability" consists of the introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography and appendix. In the introduction the relevance of the topic is justified, goal and objectives, object, subject are defined, and methods, which used in the research, besides it, the hypothesis is formulated. The first chapter deals with theoretical issues relating to the concept and the role of small businesses, the mechanisms of state support for small enterprises are explored. The second chapter contains an analysis of the status and development of small business in Russia. The third chapter is devoted to the Nizhny Novgorod small business, the instruments of state support for small business at the regional level, in particular, in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The activities of the Ministry of industry, trade and entrepreneurshipof Nizhny Novgorod region are studied in detail and ways of improving the state support are identified. In the conclusion the results of the study are summed up, particularly: • small business is an important and significant element of the modern economy; • state support for small business in Russia consists of the legal, organizational and financial measures, each of which includes a range of various activities; • the existence of barriers, which hinder small business development; • positive tendency of the development of the institutional environment of support for small business in the Nizhny Novgorod region; • small business support mechanisms in the Nizhny Novgorod region are not sufficiently effective, therefore, a set of measures for their improvement is developed. Bibliography includes a set of normative legal acts regulating entrepreneurial activity, a list of educational, scientific and periodical publications on the topic. The appendix presents the state programs of development of small business in Nizhny Novgorod region.
