The Development Strategies of TV Programms Focused on Gender Subjects: Russian Experience

The research is devoted to investigations of TV programs and TV channels focused on gender on Russian TV market. Russian TV channels (“Domashniy”, “You”) and gender TV programs ( “klub byvshih zhen”, “Devchata”, “Muzhskoe/zhenskoe”, ‘Zhenskij vzglyad’) are been as an object of research. The subject of investigation is the content of these TV channels and programs. The topicality of this theme is due to the fact that television is the most popular mass media in Russia and this fact provides a high responsibility because it’s very important to control the sphere of the content TV market. The qualitative content must be delivered to people. The hypothesis of this research is that on the TV channels positioning themselves mass media for female audience even more often it is possible to see the TV serials, movies and programs focused and on men including. The tendency of expansion of audience of gender TV channels will be analysed in this work. Besides, an objective of this research is detection of specifics of programming of broadcasting schedules of such TV channels. To learn what formats are demanded what aren't present that influences a formula of success of the declared TV programs and TV channels it will be possible by means of the solution of the plan of the tasks set in this work. Novelty of research is that early this subject hasn't been studied in that look in what it is declared in this work. Separate blocks of research have been considered, however fully strategy of development of gender television and TV channels will be analyzed for the first time, than scientific and practical novelty of this research is proved.
