The Use of Motivational Factors in Management of an IT Startup Project

This research is focused on the key motivating factors of start-up teams that work in the field of IT. The author analyzes the differences of tangible and intangible incentives that lead to higher effectiveness of a startup team. Basing on the results of her practical research, the author concludes that tangible and intangible incentives play an equal role in startup team motivation. Besides, the author suggests an algorithm of building a motivational system for a startup and illustrates the process of budgeting the motivational strategy with a real-life example.
