Development of the Fixed Assets Management System

The given graduate thesis reviews the design & development of the fixed assets management software program. This paper consists of three parts: (1) Introduction, (2) Body, (3) Conclusion — along with three appendices. This paper consists 58 pages, 10 tables, 35 imarges, list of references contains 14 items. The software is designed for fixed assets state & flow accounting and liability changes control. It provides a range of instruments for the internal control of all actions in the given field, assists in making timely management decisions and reduces human factor risks. The software has complex replication features to provide geographically apportioned organizations support. The “Body” section describes particular capabilities and UI in details. It contains the IT captions as well, with database structure and algorithms overview. The “Conclusion” section consists of effectiveness assessment and competitor analysis. The software solution was successfully integrated and put into operation in 6 (six) plants of Federal Agency for Safe Storage and Destruction of Chemical Weapons (Russia) around the country along with headquarters in Moscow. Appendix #1 includes the ER model which represents relations inside the database used in development. Appendix #2 includes the source codes of the given software. Appendix #3 includes the user manual.
