Why Mysticism of Krishnamurti Jiddu was a Success in the West?

Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) – a popular Indian thinker and preacher, who became famous on the West, the author of numerous philosophical and literary works. Krishnamurti's works are devoted to issues such as the possible psychological revolution, meditation, moral perfection of man and the problem of the social transformation. The crucial problems that attract Krishnamurti are relevant not only to the eastern cultural tradition, but also for western. One of the researchers and also the follower of Krishnamurti's teaching – English writer Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) describes the proposed Indian philosopher's position as a non-religious, that is an alternative to existing, as "a person who successfully solved the problem of its relations with the two worlds, the facts and the characters – this man has no faith. " The paper contains an analysis of the phenomenon of popularity of Krishnamurti's teachings in Western culture, as well as consider the teachings of Krishnamurti as one of the possible stages of development ideas of "transversal philosophy".
