Mobile Application "Tourist Helper"

The mobile application market is growing rapidly. Thanks to the power and functionality of modern devices provides the opportunity to create applications that help solve a variety of problems of the users. One of the biggest problems associated with the overabundance of information and the complexity of its perception due to lack of knowledge of foreign languages while traveling in other countries. One of the ways of presenting information to people is the use of QR codes. This technology is an effective opportunity of data transmission, but there are a number of problems that hamper its widespread use. In this paper, we consider creating a mobile application "Tourist Assistant" that simplifies the work with information while traveling and solves the problem of the use of QR codes for tourism purposes. Thus, the aim of this work is creating a mobile application for the Android operating system, which will simplify the work with the information transferred via QR codes.
