This paper describes the traditional electoral research issue of the influence of factors of social and economic development on the electoral behavior of the voters, namely their choice in favor of one or another political party. However, it should be noted that the transition from the national level down to the level of municipal districts allow to investigate refined and updated set of predictors and to obtain relevant results for political parties in two of the Ural and Volga Federal districts.
