The Consciousness and the World in "Nausea" by Jean-Paul Sartre and in "The Stranger" by Albert Camus

The aim of the present research is to examine two philosophical theories of two French existential philosophers - Albert Camus and Jean-Paul Sartre, concentrated the attention on the concept of person`s consciousness and understanding of the world. Their original writings and latest researches on their philosophy are the theoretical base of the thesis. This research refers to history of philosophy and requires appropriate methods like hermeneutical analysis and comparative analysis. The anticipated results suggests that there are lots of important similarities and differences in their theory, and the way they differ from each other is the main purpose of our research.
