Development of a Web Service for Automatic Tagging of Audio Files

The present paper contains a description of the degree project, devoted to the design and development of a web service for automatic tagging of audio files that allows users to upload audio files to the server and both manually and automatically edit tags (including album cover art and another metadata) and then download the processed file from the server. As a part of the project was developed an application «Click&Tag». An application was created with the use of the only freely-distributed development tools. Also in the paper was reviewed and analyzed similar applications and audio editing web services.
