Intermodal Traffic Organization on the Eurasian Market

Annotation The aim of the study is to analyze the possibility of improving the container traffic through the border station Dostyk, located on the transport corridor China - Kazakhstan - Russia. The effectiveness of the intermodal transport organization is largely dependent on the interaction of different countries transport systems/ That is why the development of land border crossings is an important practical task. There was developed the project of cargo delivery from China to Russia and analysis of the transit Dostyk station, directly affecting the implementation of the Trans-Siberian Railway transit potential. This paper analyzes the causes of the "bottlenecks" in the process of delivery as well as proposes scheme for solving the problem of downtime occurrence. As a result, reduction of time and transportation costs provides a positive economic effect on the formation of the cargo value.
