Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the City: Condition, Problems and Strategic Guidelines

Transport infrastructure is an integral part of the city, which allows to link its territory in a single living space. However, to find a compromise between the infrastructure limitations of the urban area and population needs in the transport of correspondence to date, the problem requires a comprehensive study. The strategic decision of transport problems is aimed at improving access to the city's main centers of attraction for all population groups, as used vehicles and pedestrians. Experience in large cities shows that the main mistake of many transport systems is the wrong goal-setting, problem when considered high motorization and street space deficit. Although satisfy transport demand could not be more in any city in the world. Developed and presented in this study, static targets improving the city road infrastructure, based on the results of quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the opinions of experts, residents of the city, the use of analytical data in the system applying to become intelligent bricks, laid in the foundation of a new scientific direction for transport planning cities the principles of sustainable development and improving the quality of people's lives.
