Development of Recommendations on Application of RFID in Medical Devices Considering EMC

The paper describes the problem of the use of RFID technology in the field of medicine. It was considered the definition of electromagnetic compatibility, radio frequency identification. In addition, an analysis was made of works written by foreign experts in the subject. Experiment on measurement of intensity of the electromagnetic field caused by RFID devices was executed. The obtained data were compared with requirements of state standard specification for electromagnetic compatibility for medical electric devices. In conclusion it was written recommendations for the use of RFID equipment in medical technology.
