Distinctive Features of State Procurement of Medicine

In this paper a review of the key legal acts that regulate public procurement of medicines in Russia is provided and main problems existing in this sphere are analysed. Moreover, the author also held an analysis of the public procurement framework of medicines in the city of Moscow, the purpose of which was to identify the proportion of foreign and domestic suppliers in this market and estimate the impact of the introduction of a draft resolution of the Russian government, limiting the access of foreign companies to participation in the public procurement of medicines.
