Educational Programme: Infocommunication Technologies and Systems (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2016

In this final qualifying work, an algorithm and a program for calculating the resonator slow-wave structures of “chain of coupled resonators”-type with transit channel filled with a collisionless plasma were developed. The calculation methods and the choice of software are considered. The slow-wave structure is represented by an octopole. The program in Mathcad which allows visualizing the dispersion characteristics of the data obtained as a result HFSS simulation is developed. Analysis of the results showed compliance of the results with the results of calculations performed by other methods. Inclusion of plasma allows to extend the working band, as well as to increase the coupling impedance.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.
