Perm Opposition in Political Protest Practices

In this research it was investigated the activity of opposition in Perm, reflected in the mirror of media. The aim is to examine the Perm political opposition through the practices implemented in the political space of Perm. In the first chapter it was analyzed the major political conflicts were reflected in the local press, which promoted the revival of opposition activities. Thus, it was considered that the reason for the discontent were the statements or actions of the governor of the Perm region. It was also revealed that in the Perm opposition activity figures and the federal agenda. Perm opposition organizes various meetings and actions in support of Moscow's opposition. In the second chapter it is considers identified opposition and their practices trough the theoretical concepts of Bourdieu. Opposition members are treated as agents, who have some positions in the political field of Perm, and, along with the government, realize symbolic struggle for the representations of the population. The main conclusions relating to the identified characteristics of the Perm opposition. Thus, the opposition is represented not by political parties, but by civic activists. This opposition is personalized, that is, more attention in media is paid not to organizations, which the activists representing, but to their last names. Also, one of the conclusions is that all actions of the opposition is a reaction to the words or actions of the authorities, so that the political agenda is saved by the representatives of power and the opposition has certain reaction.
