Improving Controlling of Logistics Processes of Retail Chain by Using the Business Intelligence Systems

1. The title of graduation thesis: “The improving of controlling of logistics processes in retail chain by using the Business Intelligence System”. 2. Student: Chelyasov Ivan Andreevich, 124 BLG Group 3. Research advisor Novikov Vladimir Eduardovich, Candidate of technical sciences, professor. Key words: logistics controlling system, integration of information processing system, design of information processing systems, reengineering of business processes, strategic profit model. The purpose of graduation thesis is to develop practical methods and to provide economic justification of modernisation of Business Intelligence system and further logistics controlling in Metro Cash & Carry. In the course of the Company logistics activities analysis the following problems were revealed: inefficient controlling system, absence of united informational structure, low speed of acceptance process, low speed of controlling analysis. The subject of research is the controlling system and retail company "Metro Cash & Carry". In this graduation thesis recommendations for staged implementation of BI System in the Metro Cash & Carry were examined. The economic feasibility of the practical application of the proposed recommendations was proved. Return on equity of the company increased by 3.4%. 4. Thesis volume: 82 pages, 13 figures, 16 tables, a list of references – 25 numbers.
