Sensitivity to generic-nongeneric distinction seems crucial for everyday speech. To interpret an utterance generically or non-generically English speakers rely on three types of cues – morphosyntactic , contextual and world knowledge. However, we still do not know whether and to what extent this competence is preserved in linguistically impaired population. Moreover, it is interesting what types of cues play more important role in articleless language, as Russian is.
