In this connection, formal logical rules of argumentation cease to be the only criterion for the success of argumentation. The interest of scientists now is also attracted by extralogical, extra-linguistic instruments of persuasion. There are many studies related to social, psychological and other kinds of factors affecting the subject's epistemic settings. The most interesting studies are dedicated to manipulative influence. This work represents an attempt to compare the concepts of justification and persuasion in the framework of modern research on the theory of argumentation. The main purpose of this work is to find out the role of the logical justification and psychological techniques in the process of argumentation.
