The Features of Public Procurements for Medical Equipment Maintenance Services

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the features of the medical equipment service public procurements and identify the main problems in this area and propose potential improvements. To achieve the purpose in this paper the analysis of a range of legal literature, of FAS complaints and jurisprudence was conducted. Results of this study demonstrate the main problems in this area of procurements such as inaccurate procurement object description, overpricing, surplus participation requirements and technical incompliance. Based on identified problems recommendations to the public authorities are made. This paper consists of introduction, theoretical part (Chapter 1-3), market of medical equipment service analysis (Chapter 4), analysis of FAS complaints (Chapter 5), conclusion and references.
