Pricing in the Transfer Market of Russian Football Premier League

A lot of fans, experts and researchers are interested in transfer price development of football players. Nowadays there are enough papers that studied transfers in popular European championships: English and German. But there are almost no researches that studied other championships. In this paper pricing on transfer market was analyzed using the OLS method and the sample of Russian football Premier League. There were obtained some results that help to understand the transfer price development of backs, midfielders and forwards. This research can help football managers to determine the real transfer fee of the player from Russian football Premier League.
