Gamification in Modern Journalism: Methods and Genres

The topic of this paper is "Gamification in modern journalism: methods and genres". The game in this study was researched as a part of social and cultural life of human. Also, gamification was studied as a method of communication with customers and members of companies and as a part of modern mass media. Moreover, we studied the examples of gamification in russian and foreing media. The hypotesis of the study was confirmed using such method of investigation as a case - study and the survey. In the process of study we identified the differences between elements of gamification that are used in modern media in Russia and other counties. This paper is unique, because we typologized successful examples of gamification and also we revealed a new system of games in mass media.
