The customs law of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is in constant development. To date, due to the profound changes in the regulatory legal regulation of customs relations in the EAEU member states, a need has arisen for a comprehension of the system of legal regimes offered by customs law and knowledge of their essence. In particular, such complex among them as the customs procedure of the free customs zone. The present work is devoted to the study of the essence of this legal regime
