This study investigates the methods of coverage of the events connected with the Eurozone crisis by different media, namely, RT and the BBC. The three key events were taken as a basis: the economic crisis in Greece (2009), refugee crisis in Europe (2015) and the UK's exit from the European Union, the so-called "brexit" (2016). Being able to form the public opinion, these major channels are responsible for perception of information by the audience . That is why it is extremely important to understand to what extent the coverage of these key events of the modern history differs, what sources of information and lexical tools channels use, whether there is a second point of view in the coverage, which side stands out as an "enemy," and what remains a "friend". This study will also cover the causes and major events of the Eurozone crisis and the selected channels would be investigated for the presence of ideological propaganda and bias.
