This final qualification work is devoted to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the system of state management in the sphere of tourism. The first Chapter examines theoretical approaches to the assessment of governance quality in the tourism industry and develops a methodology for assessing the quality of the state administration of tourism. The second Chapter considers measures and mechanisms of state management in the sphere of tourism and the level of tourism development in countries around the world. In the third Chapter undertake a comparative analysis on the evaluation of the effectiveness of state tourism management in the Russian Federation and certain countries in the world are given recommendations for solving the problems of tourism in Russia. The tourism management system is being considered in seven countries: Russia, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, China and the Republic of Korea.
