The Role of the Russian Liberal Elite in the Political Processes of the 1990-ies

In my paper I’ve examined the main stages and forms of liberalism development and liberalism in the modern world and its influence on the political process in Russia in the 90th. I’ve carried out an analysis of Gorbachev’s reforms resulting in inception of Russian liberalism and an analysis of economic reforms of E.T. Gaidar in the 1991-1992nd which showed the need to relieve Russia from the economic coma. In my research I’ve analyzed the participation of liberals in so called «first wave» of the end of the 20th century, in the political process of the 90th and in forming liberal ideology of Russia.
