The Recall in Local Self-Government: Concept, Legal Framework, Problems of Implementation

In this graduation work the author analyzed the Recall of elected representatives in local self-government. In the first chapter, definitions and concepts of the legal phenomenon are given on the basis of the aspects that reveal its nature. The author explores trends in legal grounds since the first mention of the citizens' suffrage to modern legal regulation. Problems of regulation and the impact of the electoral process on the implementation of the recall institute were investigated and evaluated. The author gave a number of proposals for improving the legal regulation of this institution.
