Comparative Analysis of Methods of Evaluating of Investment Attractiveness Russian Regions

Nowadays for prosperity and effective existence and development of the region, investments are needed. To begin with, the investor needs to know the detailed and most importantly, truthful information about the region's investment attractiveness. Before investing money in the region, the investor should be convinced of the correctness of his choice. Therefore, he needs to know about the investment risks of this region, as well as the investment climate. Methods of assessing the investment attractiveness of the region can help in choosing a suitable region. The relevance of the research topic is conditioned by the fact that the investment attractiveness of the region always influences on the investment attractiveness of the country. The investment attractiveness of the region plays a significant role for two subjects of the investment process: the state and the private investor. It is necessary to understand what kind of method for assessing investment attractiveness is the most suitable for each subject. The purpose of this paper is a comparative analysis of methods for assessing the investment attractiveness by selecting the most appropriate methodology for the two subjects of the investment process: the state and a private investor. For this purpose, it was necessary to compare several techniques on the method of analyzing hierarchies based on selected criteria and to identify their advantages and disadvantages. Based on the results of the research, the author suggests the most appropriate method for assessing the investment attractiveness for two subjects of the investments, using the utility function method. The practical novelty of the graduate qualification work is in the methodological approach of the research. The second stage of empiricism is a complex process by itself. The method of utility function allows to compare objects in three-dimensional space.
