The thesis is devoted to the role of soundscape in process of construction and maintainance of place identity in historical perspective. First part of the text is concerned with conceptualization of two complex objects, place identity and soundscape. Both of them to be properly discussed need non-essentialist flat ontology, we use particular one, assemblage ontology. The proper methodological perspective revealed in the first part of the text is being tested on a famous VDNH city object. Role of sounndscape in process of formation of historical identity of this place is being investigated in three temporal realities: past, present and the future. Despite being placed in completely different contexts, in all the cases VDNH demonstrates extremely interesting similarities.
