Experiments with Volume and Proportions as a Way of Creating a Collection

Student: Krylova Tatiana

Supervisor: Maria Klyuchevskaya

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Design (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

In this diploma project we are talking about a close relationship between the world of volume and the world of proportions. In the role of volume here is oversize clothing. The main goal I set to myself was to create a clothing collection, consisting of 10 different, but directly related sets. In the process of research a technique for increasing individual details on volumetric things was developed. However, despite the baggy all forms seems feminine. The source of inspiration for color reseach was the era of rococo and its typical pastel colors.
