Fostering a Data-Driven Culture inside a Fintech Enterprise

Nowadays, one of the main tasks for managers is to perform informed and qualitative decisions, because the efficiency of companies' activities directly depends on the quality and timeliness of the decisions. All over the world, organizations are accumulating or have already accumulated a huge amount of data. Using the analysis of these data, managers can extract a lot of useful information. This information can be used for improving the business processes of the organization and identifying opportunities for development. One of the approaches for decision-making is a data-driven approach, in which preference is given to a solution backed up by validated data. The purpose of this paper is to build a decision-making culture based on data that is applicable in the fin-tech company. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and a list of references. In the first chapter of this paper, the analysis of the existing studies in the field of constructing a decision-making culture based on data was conducted. The second chapter is devoted to identifying factors for the success of building a data-driven culture in the company and definition of the necessary the tools for it. The third chapter describes the research object and the results of applying the developed approach to the Russian commercial bank. In conclusion, the results obtained in the course of the work are analyzed and formulated.
