Development of Decision Support System for Menu and Diet Selection

The diploma paper describes design of database and operation algorithm within the decision support system for human diet adjustment. The explanatory note to the work contains 11 chapters, 16 tables, 1 picture, 2 formulas, appendix and a bibliography of 10 sources. The importance of a decision support system in a present-day world and explanation of immediacy of the problem solved by use of developed system are examined in the introduction. The main part describes the purposes of the decision support system development, which addresses decision-making support methods, one of which was chosen for implementing the system. Also the main part contains comparative analysis of different data base management systems, programming languages and substantiation of their choice. Modeling of application domain, developing database structure and its provisioning are carried out in the practical part. Also practical part contains operation algorithm.
