Educational Programme: Design (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2017

In my visual research I decided to find and examine patterns and recent trends in the use of characters and fonts in the works of contemporary artists, taking only what is called "contemporary art". from about the early 2000s, when the world has finally entered the digital age, leaving behind a text phototypesetting. In the beginning of my work I have divided the research into several sections according to the format of the works: Graffiti, Installation, Monumental painting, Graphics and Media (new format of art that, I believe you need to isolate). During the research I touched on and collected only those works which at first sight is built on graphic and verbal images, phrases, text, messages. The topic of my thesis was the book for children aged 5 to 9 years, which will acquaint them in a fun way with letters, history writing, some design terms and things in simple language.
